[VoCamp Discuss] VoCamp Baltimore/Washington DC

Hi Mike,

This sounds like a great idea. I know that Ed Summers from the LoC has
expressed an interest in running a VoCamp in Washington D.C. in the
time around ISWC2009 [1], so there may be an opportunity for
collaboration there (I think Ed is on this list). I'll be in DC for
ISWC2009 so certainly hope to attend any VoCamps in the area at that
time, although of course that shouldn't stop you from organising
something sooner if the opportunity arises :)

In terms of other activity on the east coast, a VoCamp in NYC has also
been proposed by Christine Connors and Marco Neumann. July was floated
as a possible date IIRC.

HTH. Please do keep us all posted on how plans develop, and just ask
(on or off-list) if you'd like any input.

Cheers,

Tom.

P.S. I approved your previous post to the list (held for moderation as
you're not currently subscribed) and set an "Accept" flag for your
email address, so future posts will go straight through, but I didn't
take the liberty of subscribing you, so you won't currently receive
mail back from the list. :)
