Hi Everybody<br><br>Liz Pruszko from Phase 2 Technology was at our VoCamp in Austin. Phase 2 Technology has developed all the Open Calais plugins for Drupal, and they are in the DC area. She was talking about organizing a VoCamp there to. So you should all hook up and organize this!<br>

This sounds like a great idea. I know that Ed Summers from the LoC has<br>
expressed an interest in running a VoCamp in Washington D.C. in the<br>
time around ISWC2009 [1], so there may be an opportunity for<br>
collaboration there (I think Ed is on this list). I'll be in DC for<br>
ISWC2009 so certainly hope to attend any VoCamps in the area at that<br>
time, although of course that shouldn't stop you from organising<br>
something sooner if the opportunity arises :)<br>

In terms of other activity on the east coast, a VoCamp in NYC has also<br>
been proposed by Christine Connors and Marco Neumann. July was floated<br>
as a possible date IIRC.<br>
