Hi all,
I just wanted to say a big thanks to all of you who contributed to
making the first VoCamp in Oxford last week a really great event. We
managed to test an unknown format, which seemed to work out pretty
well with some tweaks along the way, create and publish a number of
vocabularies, and kick-start a process which will hopefully help make
the Semantic Web a great success.
I'll endeavour to write up a summary of what happened and what we've
learned on a blog somewhere and also on the the vocamp.org wiki. I've
also tried to pull together blog entries about the event and put them
at [1], and if you haven't seen them yet there are some great photos
at [2].
Cathy has also been true to her word and started mapping out some
vocabulary Best Practices at [3] and I notice at [4] that Chris has
added in some links to some really helpful visualisations of the
created vocabs - thanks to you both :)
OK, no doubt we'll talk more in the coming days/weeks, but in the
meantime, thanks again, and hope to see many of you at
VoCampGalway2008, VoCampVienna (<-- Matthias, looking forward to
talking more about potential dates! :) and maybe VoCampLondon aswell.
Cheers,
Tom.
